Costa Rica Escape Ride
A wonderful horseback riding get-away starting at the lovely Sueno  Azul resort located at Horquetas of Sarapiqui,  only 1 hour and 15 minutes from downtown San Jose. The hotel  has a unique rustic elegance where the good taste and nature excel  equally. It’s a terrific place to rest and decontaminate your body and soul. The first ride takes you through the rainforest to a waterfall. The next day riding can be a bit more forward going through pastures and forests with good areas to canter. If you are interested we can add an exciting half day rafting trip before or after the ride. The next day a car transfer takes us to the Pacific Coast, where we arrive just in time for a fantastic Sunset ride. Here you will truly enjoy the view of the Pacific Ocean as the sun slowly sets.  The next day we explore the hills and canyons with a tropical vegetation you will not soon forget along the ‘Route of the Conquistadores’. We then ride from Biajuel all the way over the mountain range to Playa Hermosa, where the next day brings a long day in the saddle, but the scenery with the ocean views will keep you enthralled. The final riding day takes you to the beach where you and your horse can run full speed through the surf at the water’s edge. A wonderful riding trip come to an end.
